The Game

Cards turned down
yet become unfolded
by your circumstances
raise them up
and acknowledge the mix
of good or bad chances

Fold them for happiness
health and love
And slowly turn in your hand
Know that winning
is not in your control
but play the best you can

For the dealer is life
and you must be wise
to win this strange game of cards
but play it right
with the chances you're given
and ill fortune will never bring harm
